BROWNIE POPS!!!!

for one of my friends' birthday i made brownie pops. they turned out really cute and delicious!!!!!

Ingredients:
brownie mix(or the things to make brownies from scratch)
1 cup chocolate chips
2 teaspoons shortening
sprinkles
ribbon
plastic wrap

Step 1: well of course, first you gotta bake your brownies (in a 13x9in pan). put aluminum foil down on the pan and spray with non-stick cooking spray. make sure the foil goes 1-2 inches over the side. follow the instructions on the box or bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes or until fully baked. allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: after the brownies cool, put the entire pan(foil and everything) in the freezer for about 45 minutes. then take them out and carefully remove foil and brownies from pan. carefully peeling off the foil, cut the brownies into rectangles(about 16-24 depending on how small you cut them) place back in freeser for 10 minutes.
Step 3: while the brownies are in the freezer, melt the chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl(in the microwave) for about 1 minute. if its not melted enough put in microwave 5 seconds at a time until fully melted. take the brownies out of the freezer and carefully place popsicle sticks in the ends. make sure you go almost all the way through the brownie so it doesn't fall off. then with a knife, spread melted chocolate over the tops of the brownies, and sprinkle. put in fridge 15-30 minutes or until chocolate is somewhat hard

Step 4: after the chocolate has hardened, wrap each brownie pop in plastic wrap and tie with ribbon(to make it look like a lollipop)

enjoy!
