BROWNIE POPS!!!!

for one of my friends' birthday i made brownie pops. they turned out really cute and delicious!!!!!

Ingredients:
brownie mix(or the things to make brownies from scratch)
1 cup chocolate chips
2 teaspoons shortening
sprinkles
ribbon
plastic wrap

Step 1: well of course, first you gotta bake your brownies (in a 13x9in pan). put aluminum foil down on the pan and spray with non-stick cooking spray. make sure the foil goes 1-2 inches over the side. follow the instructions on the box or bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes or until fully baked. allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: after the brownies cool, put the entire pan(foil and everything) in the freezer for about 45 minutes. then take them out and carefully remove foil and brownies from pan. carefully peeling off the foil, cut the brownies into rectangles(about 16-24 depending on how small you cut them) place back in freeser for 10 minutes.
Step 3: while the brownies are in the freezer, melt the chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl(in the microwave) for about 1 minute. if its not melted enough put in microwave 5 seconds at a time until fully melted. take the brownies out of the freezer and carefully place popsicle sticks in the ends. make sure you go almost all the way through the brownie so it doesn't fall off. then with a knife, spread melted chocolate over the tops of the brownies, and sprinkle. put in fridge 15-30 minutes or until chocolate is somewhat hard

Step 4: after the chocolate has hardened, wrap each brownie pop in plastic wrap and tie with ribbon(to make it look like a lollipop)

enjoy!

PIZZA TIME

okey dokey so i made a pizza and it was DELICIOUS.
i named him tasty pete.
and indeed he was tasty. anyways here are some pics of tasty pete.

before baking
after baking
all gone!

so tasty pete had his dough, sauce, cheese, and chicken
i made the dough and kneaded it and let it rise. then i spread it out on the pan very carefully. i decided just to help it rise a little more i put it in the oven for about 5 minutes then took it out and put on tomato sauce with a little bit of pepper, some cheese, and i cut up and half-way cooked some chicken breast, and put that on top also.

pizza is actually pretty easy to make. you can get the pre-made ingredients and slap it together quickly or you can take your time. either way works, but it's simple, delicious, and fun. try it some time!

chinese chicken salad!!!

okay so my measurements are kind of different. when you buy silverware there are normally two different sizes of spoons, large and small. those are the measurements i'm using at the moment.

ingredients:
lettuce
chicken
1 small spoon sugar
3 large spoons soy sauce
2 large spoons vinegar
1 pack dry ramen (any flavor)

okay so for Chinese chicken salad you can choose your own lettuce, although i like to use napa cabbage (its really tall and ruffly) but if you want to you can use regular lettuce.

alright so chinese chicken salad is very simple here are the directions

step 1: cut or rip lettuce into salad
step 2: slice chicken into strips if they are not already in strips
step 3: add chicken to salad
step 4: cruch up a pack of ramen
step 5: add ramen to salad
step 6: in cup or small bowl, add sugar, soy sauce, ramen flavor(from the packet), and vinegar (if you like the taste of vinegar you can use 3 large spoons instead of 2)
step 7: mix sauce well
step 8: pour over salad
step 9: toss salad
step 10: serve and enjoy

TADA! there you have it. oh by the way if you are making a lot of salad you can make more sauce. it's all to do with whatever proportions you want. and sorry i don't have any pictures right now but i might later. :D
